- Special Guest Lisa Yates from Nuts for Life. Lisa will talk about health studies and health claims for nuts and walnuts.
- Presentations and Highlights from the HAL funded AWIA China visit.
- Presentations and Highlights from the Australia-China Agricultural Cooperative Agreement Funded AWIA delegation visit.
- Discussion about implications from the visits for production, processing and marketing of walnuts in Australia.
- Report on HAL research program on Quality Parameters for walnuts.
- Taste testing of walnut kernel: what to look out for in a good nut. (bring along a sample of your in shell nuts for the trial)
- Opportunity to visit Yering Meadows walnut orchard
Refreshments will be provided on arrival and a hot lunch will also be provided.
Cost is $25 per person to contribute to the catering.
